Father John Bolton was born in the north of England and raised in Scotland. He was ordained to the priesthood in the Scottish Episcopal church and emigrated to the United States in 1973. He has served as a parish priest in Virginia and Georgia and has worked twice as a full-time hospital chaplain.

Fr. John is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has maintained a counseling practice in Atlanta since 1983. As a Pastor he is anxious to welcome and visit newcomers. He is always available to meet personal, pastoral and spiritual needs and is on call at 404-402-7599.

Fr. John enjoys conversation about the increasingly complex issues of religion, life and personal spirituality in a very diverse society. In common with other pastors he sees his role as guiding, supporting and encouraging people in their search for deeper meaning and joy in their lives.
